I'm feeling these exact same feelings this month and this post makes me feel not alone... I like Instagram to connect with people that do similar work as me, and people I haven't met. However I'm constantly caught in this comparison trap among these people and I'm trying to find ways to balance both. Maybe blogging is an outlet for this? I love your work and things you post. Caroline brought me here :)
Hi Rebekah! I'm so glad you're here, and that the post made you feel seen. That's always my goal with my writing, so hearing that warms my heart :)
As for your point about the comparison trap, that's a great question and one that I'm also struggling with. I think blogging helps, but it's definitely not the be all end all, so I'm hoping I can do some more digging on how to find balance in a future newsletter.
